Aunt Ruth's Chocolate Pie
1 cup sugar 5 Tablespoons flour OR 1/4 cup cornstarch 3 Tablespoons cocoa 2 eggs, separated 2 cups milk One 9" baked pie shell 1/4 cup sugar for meringue
Mix dry ingredients. Add egg yolks and milk. Cook in double boiler or over low heat until thick. Pour into Baked pie shell and top with meringue.
For meringue, beat two egg whites until foamy. Gradually add 1/4 cup sugar, beating until stiff. Spread over pie filling. Bake in 425 degree oven for about 5 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes one pie.
